Doctor-designed erection rings

Erection rings that help you stay firmer, longer.

FirmTech erection rings are doctor-designed rings worn at the base of the penis that help men get firmer, longer-lasting erections, with no pills and no prescription.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Which erection ring should I buy?

Pick by goal. FirmTech makes three erection rings: the TechRing ($275) for performance support plus data on firmness, duration and nighttime erections; the Performance Ring ($60) for a simple, comfortable ring worn up to 12 hours; and the MaxPR ($60) for FirmTech's tightest fit, worn up to 90 minutes.

The TechRing wins if you want to know what is happening, not just feel it: it measures every session and every night. The Performance Ring is the easiest first ring and the one to wear for hours. The MaxPR fits a narrower case: men who already like a ring and want more pressure and intensity for shorter sessions.

The rings

Three erection rings, one doctor-designed fit

Every FirmTech ring uses the same anatomical peno-scrotal fit, designed with leading urologists, and the same adjustable hook-and-loop strap. The TechRing is the only one that measures.

Erection rings, explained in plain terms

What is an erection ring?

An erection ring is a band worn at the base of the penis that gently slows blood from flowing back out, so an erection stays firmer and lasts longer. FirmTech erection rings take that simple idea and make it comfortable: soft medical-grade elastomer, phthalate- and latex-free, with one loop around the base of the penis and one behind the testicles to spread pressure evenly.

The effect is mechanical and lasts only while the ring is on. There is nothing to swallow and no prescription. FirmTech says its rings keep blood in without blocking ejaculation, and all three can go on before an erection, so you can put one on discreetly ahead of time. A ring supports an erection you can already get; it does not treat the cause of erectile dysfunction, which is worth discussing with a doctor.

TechRing

The FirmTech TechRing: smart tech for your manhood

The FirmTech TechRing does what a standard erection ring does, then measures it. Built-in sensors record firmness, quality and duration during sex. Worn overnight, it counts and measures the erections you sleep through, which FirmTech notes healthy men have 3 to 5 times a night. Everything lands in a free app for iPhone and Android as an Erectile Fitness Score from 0 to 100.

It costs $275, carries a 1-year warranty, runs up to 12 hours on a charge and is safe to wear for up to 12 hours. FirmTech states the data is handled to HIPAA standards and never sold.

C rings for men

C rings for men, and where FirmTech fits

C rings for men, often written c-rings, are the same family as cock rings, constriction rings and ED rings. Most are fixed loops of metal or stretchy silicone that circle the base. FirmTech took a different route: an adjustable strap you set to your own size, and a peno-scrotal shape built with urologists so the pressure is even instead of pinching one spot.

That matters most for wear time. FirmTech lists up to 12 hours for the Performance Ring and TechRing, and up to 90 minutes for the tighter MaxPR.

How do you put on an erection ring?

A FirmTech ring goes on in seconds, while you are soft. FirmTech describes it in three steps:

  1. Step 1: Open the loop

Hold the loop open and drop the testicles through it.

  2. Step 2: Set both loops

One loop now sits under the testicles, the other around the base of the penis.

  3. Step 3: Fine-tune the fit

Adjust the strap until it is snug but not tight. Loosen it if anything pinches or goes numb.

Not sure it will fit? Use the ED ring size chart and fit checker.

“We built the TechRing because men deserve real data about their sexual health, not guesswork.”

Common questions

Short answers here. All 49 questions are on the FirmTech erection ring FAQ.

What is an erection ring?
An erection ring is a band worn at the base of the penis that gently slows blood from flowing back out, which helps an erection stay firmer for longer. FirmTech erection rings are doctor designed, made from soft medical-grade elastomer, and loop behind the testicles as well as around the base for even pressure. More in the FAQ
How do erection rings work?
They work mechanically. Gentle, even pressure at the base slows blood leaving the penis, so an erection that has formed stays firmer and lasts longer. The effect lasts only while the ring is on, so there are no pills to take and nothing to wait for. More in the FAQ
Which FirmTech ring should I buy?
Choose the TechRing ($275) if you want performance support plus data on every session and night. Choose the Performance Ring ($60) for a comfortable, simple ring you can wear up to 12 hours. Choose the MaxPR ($60) for the tightest fit and most intensity, worn up to 90 minutes. More in the FAQ
Will a FirmTech ring fit me?
Most likely. FirmTech says one size fits 95% of men, up to 5.5 inches (14 cm) of erect girth, and the hook-and-loop strap adjusts to your exact size. All three rings share that same fit range, so there is no size to pick at checkout. More in the FAQ
What are the side effects of erection rings?
Constriction rings can cause numbness, coldness, bruising or discomfort, usually when a ring is too tight or worn too long. In a published review of the TechRing, only two users reported mild discomfort after more than 4 hours of use, which resolved when the device was removed. More in the FAQ
How much do FirmTech rings cost?
The TechRing costs $275. The Performance Ring and MaxPR cost $60 each. Bundles pairing the TechRing with a second ring cost $295 instead of $335, and the TechRing with the VaxAid Deluxe pump costs $499 instead of $574. More in the FAQ
Can I pay with HSA or FSA?
Yes. The TechRing, Performance Ring, MaxPR and bundles that pair them are HSA/FSA eligible through Flex at checkout. Accessories, protection plans and shipping are not eligible. Your plan administrator has the final say on what it covers. More in the FAQ
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Orders ship in a plain, unbranded box, and shipping is free on orders over $100. FirmTech says there is no product name on the packing slip or on your card statement. More in the FAQ
